I've been asked to design the cloth badge for SS09 (Scottish Senior Section Camp). This is what I have come up with so far (the actual badge will be about an inch by an inch and a half). None of the others on the committee have said yes to it but I really like it.
I also wondered about a fancy thistle design or something working in the Girlguiding Centenary colours since we'll just have launched it before event but the Highland Cow won me over.

Twilight Obsession
More and more I am reading Teen books (mostly thanks to being a High School Librarian). The latest lot to take me was the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. So you can expect crafty goodness related to that coming soon - including t-shirts and a patchwork quilt (it's a Mystery Quilt project).
I've been reading on a bit of a Vampire theme recently including 'Sucks to be me: The all-true confessions of Mina Hamilton, Teen Vampire (maybe)' by Kimberly Pauley (a nice twist on the Vampire story) and of course the classic Dracula by Bram Stoker. I'm currently reading 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova which is a reworking of the classic Bram Stoker story.
